Wellington Zoo Scavenger Hunts
As the Team Leader Visitor Experience at Wellington Zoo I created multiple scavenger hunts and worksheets for events.
Conservation Quest
This scavenger hunt was created to encourage visitors to read our conservation interpretive signage around the Zoo and to highlight out Conservation Partners and the work that they do.
This was printed to be folded in an accordion booklet style.
Snow Leopard Trail
The Snow Leopards at Wellington Zoo were eagerly awaited and we had a month-long celebration to welcome them to our whānau. I created this scavenger hunt to be used leading up to the opening date for the habitat, during the opening celebrations, and for special events and long weekends for the year following the Snow Leopard arrival.
This was printed to be folded in an accordion booklet style.
Matariki Reflections
This thought-sheet was given out to visitors over Matariki weekend to encourage them to learn more about the meaning of each star in Matariki and to reflect on the holiday. It tied into the hands-on activities we ran at The Barn and gave visitors an opportunity to look at our animals through a different lens.
